Reaction of 'Bosnian Honor' to RTV HZHB report: Everyone lives the same in Zenica, your propaganda about the endangered Croats will not pass!

(Patria) - On 09/18/2023, a report was published on RTV "Herceg Bosne" which, for a large part of its duration, talks about the persecution and killing of Croats in the City of Zenica in April 1993, and then, by members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and further, the reporter tendentiously and with a series of falsehoods emphasizes the current poor position and life of members of the Croatian people in Zenica, as well as the difficult position of HVO associations participating in the City of Zenica.

In the rebuttal sent by the Association of Veterans of the BH War and Defense of Bosnian Honor "Bosnian Honor", it is stated that: "It did not take long for the centers of power, known to us, through their satellites in some sympathetic media, to again release the already verified, propaganda thesis according to which everyone was the same in the recent war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. One of these propaganda theses, and lo and behold, not by chance, released on 09/18/2023, through a report on RTV Herceg Bosne, and also reported in some other media, according to which members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, from April 15, 1993, onwards, intensively expelled Croats and committed a series of crimes in the area of Zenica".

The rebuttal continues: "Therefore, today, in the city of Zenica, as the report implies, old, frail, suffering Croats remain. And as expected on such occasions, the report is filled with a rustic Široki Brijeg scientific approach, where the ordeal of these few Central Bosnian 'Europeans' is emphasized because they defended their homes from members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Central Bosnia during that period, planted flowers and gardened, and their current position is such that they don't know whether to live or die suddenly. For such an approach to journalism, for which we believe it is never too late, you may have received a few likes from the editor-in-chief, and the phonetics and diaphragmatic breathing you skillfully demonstrated during the report go beyond the known. Well, you see, our dear 'European' friends from RTV "Herceg Bosne", that propaganda, now rustic approach and modus operandi no longer yields results. Those who know Zenica and Zenica residents, and in the report itself, inside the beautiful church in the center of Zenica, which was guarded by the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the war, and after the war
represents one of the most beautiful buildings, at mass, can recognize the respected Croats of Zenica who held the highest positions in this city during the aggression against the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and afterwards".

"In this city, after mass, our Marija goes for coffee, you know with whom? With Sejdo! In this beautiful city in the heart of Bosnia, everyone lives together, today they visit their neighbors, celebrate holidays, and sit together. In these wonderful days before the start of autumn, they prepare traditional delicacies for winter together. Many in the rest of our 'European' beautiful country of Bosnia and Herzegovina do not have such an opportunity. For those of you who come from small towns journalistically, such a model of behavior is inaccessible. But don't be disappointed, we are with you on your path to future enlightenment", states the reaction of "Bosnian Honor".

Instead of a classic denial of a deliberate, date-projected attempt at lies, we ask:

"Do you know what happened in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1992-1995? The aggression against the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina happened!

Do you remember March 1991 and the meeting in Karađorđevo? The main initiators of the attempt to divide this beautiful country were Tuđman and Milošević! Do you know what happened during the aggression against the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina? Members of the HVO committed massacres, rapes, killings, and torture in Stupni Do near Vareš! Houses were burned there! The whole village! Members of the HVO, in the early morning hours of April 16, 1993, just 16 kilometers from Zenica, killed innocent civilians, burned two-month-old babies in the village of Ahmići! Do you know how they did it: they entered houses in small groups and killed civilians and children on their doorsteps! Then the dead were burned with flamethrowers! Members of the HVO formed camps and imprisoned civilians in Žepče! Shells from HVO positions killed civilians in the center of Zenica on April 19, 1993! And do you know what happened years later? The International Court in The Hague convicted the "six" for a joint criminal enterprise! Did you happen to watch the last available video of the convicted war criminal Dario Kordić? Do you know what he said at one point in that video: "I would do it all again"! He would kill, rape, and burn again!", the reaction says.

And it adds: "At one point during the broadcast report, you also state that it would have been better if members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina had gone to defend Eastern Bosnia than to persecute Croats in Zenica. With such a horrific construction, which chills the blood of a reasonable person, you are trying to place the stamp of responsibility on the honorable Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the crimes committed in Eastern Bosnia. This is a frantic attempt to distort the facts and impose a sense of responsibility. However, it will not help you because we are thoroughly working to convey the truth to future generations. For you, our dear ones, only a sip of disgust remains".

"In the report, you also advocate for the marginalization and neglect of HVO associations in Zenica, by criticizing the City of Zenica and the mayor for not financing the activities of HVO associations. The mayor and the City of Zenica do not finance any association/organization stemming from the defense-liberation war, regardless of whether it is an association or organization, except for financing project activities. To translate for you - submit a quality project and you will be approved for financial resources. We submitted such a project. Do you know which one? We are building the tallest flagpole and the largest flag of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the entire Balkans! The height of the flagpole is 72 meters, and the flag of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina has an area of 800 square meters (like half a football stadium) and will be visible from all of Central Bosnia! You agree that the project is colossal?

Therefore, our dear friends, in Zenica, an affirmed European-oriented city, everyone lives equally, enjoys all the beauties of this, the fourth largest city in our beautiful country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In it, our dear neighbors, Croats are respected, employed in public institutions and companies, we share joys and sorrows together with members of all other peoples, religions, and orientations, and we are proud of our velvet diversity.

And yes, in the end, we remain, the honorable, proud members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, always ready to fight for a modern, European, sovereign state of Bosnia and Herzegovina", the rebuttal concludes.
