Reasons for Hadžiomerović's departure from SDP are not for public disclosure

Regarding Bakir Hadžiomerović's withdrawal from the Social Democratic Party of BiH yesterday and his resignation from the party's Main Board, Nermin Nikšić, president of SDP BiH, stated that the reasons for Hadžiomerović leaving the SDP BiH are completely private and that there are no political reasons or disagreements behind the resignation, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- Today I spoke by phone with Bakir Hadžiomerović, who informed me of his decision to leave the SDP BiH. The reasons are of a completely private nature and it really makes no sense to disclose them to the public. I must emphasize that I, as well as other members of SDP BiH, had an excellent relationship and cooperation with Bakir Hadžiomerović during his work in the party as a candidate for the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency. Unfortunately, SDP BiH is losing a quality member, but we must, above all, respect the reasons for his departure from the party. I wish him luck in his future professional endeavors and thank him for accepting to be the SDP BiH candidate in the last General Elections - Nikšić emphasized.
