Interviews with candidates for the head coach will be held two or three times

Since Safet Sušić was dismissed by the Executive Board of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday, 17 November, speculation about the new head coach has not ceased, with several prominent Bosnian names in the world of football in the running, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Vahid Halilhodžić, Amar Osim, Faruk Hadžibegić, Mehmed Baždarević, and even Croatian expert Robert Prosinečki are the names most frequently mentioned. As Patria previously reported, a source from the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina stated that a foreigner is not an option for the next head coach, so Prosinečki remains isolated in this constellation of forces.

The name of the new head coach will likely be revealed in the coming weeks, and there is enough time because our national team continues the qualifiers for Euro 2016 in March 2015.

- It is very far from any agreement with anyone to become the new head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team - said a source from the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the Bosnian news agency Patria.

As our source emphasized, detailed talks with potential candidates will be held two or three times.

- It is completely normal to invite all potential candidates, to see their thoughts, but there is still a lot of work until the final decision - said Patria's source.

However, as speculated, the helm of the Bosnian Dragons could be taken over by a new/old candidate, and among these names, the only one is Faruk Hadžibegić, who led the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team in 1999.

But, as the Patria agency learns, the possibility of joint work by two candidates is not excluded.

As a member of the Executive Board of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Darko Ljubojević, told the Patria agency on Monday, the goal is to select candidates by 1 December, and the head coach by the New Year.
