Interest in vaccination in Sarajevo Canton growing, next weekend at SCC

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - More than 21,000 vaccine doses have been administered at the vaccination points of the Sarajevo Canton Health Centers since the beginning of January.

2,093 first, 1,981 second, and 18,909 third doses of vaccines available in Sarajevo Canton have been used.

Immunization at these points takes place every working day from 7:30 AM to 7 PM. Pfizer and Sinopharm vaccines are currently available to citizens for the first, second, and third doses.

Around 350,000 vaccine doses have been administered in Sarajevo Canton institutions to date.

The percentage of vaccinated people in Sarajevo Canton is around 60%, which represents the best vaccination rate in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In addition to the points in health centers, the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton has launched the "vaccination for citizens" campaign in shopping centers. Over 10,000 people have been vaccinated this way. The campaign continues next weekend at TC Sarajevo City Center.

The Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton once again calls on citizens to get vaccinated to protect their health and the health of those around them. They also thank citizens for their cooperation and invite them to continue respecting all prescribed hygiene and epidemiological measures.
