NUMBER OF HOSPITALIZED PATIENTS RISING: 101 COVID patients in the General Hospital

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the past few days, the number of patients requiring hospitalization in the Covid wards of the General Hospital „Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš“ Sarajevo has been evidently increasing. This morning, a total of 101 patients are undergoing hospital treatment in the Covid wards of this healthcare facility, 4 of whom are in intensive care.

As part of the regular morning meeting of the Covid team, a current lecture related to the treatment of patients infected with coronavirus is held once a week. This morning's lecture was given by MSc. med. dr. Anela Šubo, a specialist in internal medicine, who spoke about the new recommendations of the „American Infectious Diseases Society“, with a focus on the treatment of Covid-19 patients with corticosteroids.
