Number of hospitalized patients in the Covid ward of the General Hospital rises

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the past 24 hours, eight patients were admitted for hospital treatment to the Covid ward of the General Hospital „Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš, while four were discharged from this ward.

Unfortunately, one patient died the previous day.

This morning, the total number of hospitalized patients in the Covid ward stands at 63 moderately severe and severe patients, of whom four are in intensive care and one is on a ventilator.

In the Covid triage clinic, five patients were observed and their transfer to the ward is underway.

During yesterday, 46 patients were admitted for hospitalization to the non-Covid wards of the General Hospital, while 40 completed hospital treatment and were discharged home. 

Twenty-five surgeries were performed, including 3 emergency, 187 planned, and 5 outpatient procedures. A total of 1,306 examinations were conducted and 5,431 services were provided.
