(Patria) - The Independent Board of the FBiH Parliament has announced a new tender for the Director and Deputy Director of the Federal Police Administration, after the previous one, published on December 1, was annulled due to an insufficient number of candidates.
Only three applications were received for both positions in the previous tender, which is not enough. According to the procedure, one application for these positions will be sufficient in the repeated tender.
Regarding the FUP Director, according to the Law on Internal Affairs of FBiH, the Minister and the Director cannot be from the same constituent nation. Since the Minister of Internal Affairs is Ramo Isak, a Bosniak, this means that the FUP Director cannot be a Bosniak, while the Deputy Director can.
Otherwise, the FUP has been without a director since Dragan Lukač retired in 2019. For the last two and a half years, the acting director was Vahidin Munjić, who has been under restrictive measures since mid-November 2025. The FUP is currently led by Enes Zeljković.
In the last tender for the Director of the Federal Police Administration, there were two applications, and the candidates were: Igor Marić and Bare Pršlja, and for the Deputy Director of the FUP, Vahidin Šahinpašić and Bare Pršlja.
