Call for Applications for 'Dr. Azra Spahić' and 'Dr. Alma Suljić' Scholarships for the 2025/2026 Academic Year

(Patria) - The Academia Foundation has announced a call for applications for the 'Dr. Azra Spahić' and 'Dr. Alma Suljić' scholarships, intended for academically successful female medical students for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Regular female students studying at accredited higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina are eligible to apply.

The scholarships are awarded for the period from December 1, 2025, to December 1, 2026, in a total amount of 3,500.00 BAM, which will be paid in four installments.

Candidates wishing to apply may do so exclusively in electronic form - as a single document in PDF format, with a clearly indicated title: 'Application for the Dr. Azra Spahić Scholarship' or 'Application for the Dr. Alma Suljić Scholarship'.

The Foundation notes that documentation submitted in a different format will not be considered.

The deadline for applications for both scholarships is October 21, 2025, until 4:00 PM.

This is the third consecutive year that the Academia Foundation has awarded these scholarships with the aim of supporting young and promising female medical students in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
