Ramiz Salkić visited Vrbanjci on the occasion of BiH Independence Day

Ramiz Salkić, Vice-President of the BiH entity RS, on the occasion of March 1st, Bosnia and Herzegovina Independence Day, visited the settlement of Vrbanjci in the municipality of Kotor Varoš, where he met with students and teachers of the elementary school in this place, reports the Patria News Agency.

On that occasion, Vice-President Salkić held a history lesson on BiH Independence Day for about 70 students. Due to the denied right to attend classes in the Bosnian language, they attend instructional classes in improvised facilities. Vice-President Salkić recalled the historical circumstances in which the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1992, in a held referendum, secured the independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and pointed out the responsibility of new generations, who have the obligation to preserve the multi-ethnic fabric of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
