Ramiz Džafić: I earn 8,000 KM from a dunum of cucumbers, for that money you work in a company for a whole year

Farmer Ramiz Džafić from Visoko earns between seven and eight thousand KM per year from a dunum of land planted with cucumbers.

Džafić told local portal MagazinPlus that cucumber cultivation is a very profitable business, which offers the grower satisfaction in work but also brings income, reports the news agency Patria.

- Agriculture is sometimes a risky business, but if you are hardworking and if you want to work, you can also earn from the field – said Džafić, adding that besides cucumber cultivation, he also grows other agricultural crops, from which he also has high yields, and he also raises several cows.

Ramiz was previously unemployed, after which his family and he started growing cucumbers. Now he is happy about it.
