Ramić: Responsibility for electing state delegates in RS lies with SDP, we will see if they had a prior agreement with SNSD

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Will Dodik again have four of his own and thus control the processes? Can the Movement for the Homeland and the opposition find a solution? Has Milorad Dodik found defectors and secured enough votes? Tomorrow are the constitutive sessions of the State and Federal Parliaments. A decision from the Constitutional Court on the appeals of Željko Komšić and Šefik Džaferović is also expected.

Edin Ramić, newly elected state parliamentarian, former member of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, current Minister for Refugees and Displaced Persons, and Vice-President of SDA, spoke about these topics in Hayat TV's News.

When it comes to tomorrow's election of delegates to the state House of Peoples, Ramić has a clear stance that the greatest responsibility lies with the SDP.

- I hope there will be some results tomorrow and that we will not reach a situation where the SNSD gets a fourth delegate through a game – Ramić stated.

He believes that this time the Movement for the Homeland can influence whether the SNSD will have four or three delegates.

"They accused us for the last four years why the SNSD had four delegates, saying we handed them over. Crnadak recently clearly stated that we could not influence that. Those who are now in a position to decide said that, and I believe a correct solution will be reached. The SNSD has complete control in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, and you can only assert yourself if you are different from the usual behavior of some deputies – Ramić said, among other things.

Ramić comments on Dodik's earlier calculation of having four guaranteed delegates, and now three, saying that he wants to sow 'seeds of doubt' among the opposition and the Movement for the Homeland.

"I hope the public will be informed about the results of the agreement between the SDP and the opposition from RS. SDA is clear on this issue. An SDA deputy will vote for the opposition, because there is no point in voting for the Movement for the Homeland's list if you don't have the opposition's support. You cannot pass to the House of Peoples that way, and by voting for that list, you are helping the SNSD. Those who say they will vote for their own list have an agreement with the SNSD, and by doing so, they would hand over the keys to the country – Ramić claims.

Ramić further explains that tomorrow it will be clear whether Osmorka had an agreement with the SNSD.

"If the SNSD gets a fourth delegate, it will mean they had an agreement and cooperation with parties from the Federation. In return, the SNSD will elect a candidate from Osmorka in the Collegium of the House of Representatives tomorrow. If the opposition gets two delegates, there is a possibility that the SNSD will be ousted from power at the state level, which would be formed by the opposition from RS and parties from the Federation – Ramić said.
