(Patria) - The Reis-ul-Ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein-ef. Kavazović, today sent a Ramadan message to Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the homeland countries and the diaspora.
The MINA agency transmits the Reis-ul-Ulema's message on the occasion of the upcoming blessed month of Ramadan in its entirety:
"Dear brothers and sisters!
Tonight, with the evening prayer, we enter Ramadan, the month of fasting and piety; the month of devotion and mercy. The time of this month is the best time of the year, in it are the best days and the best nights, as Muhammad, peace be upon him, told us.
I invite you to make use of this time together and awaken within ourselves the true human being, who appropriately fulfills his role as God's vicegerent on earth. Being a person obedient to God in a world that is collapsing and sinking into debauchery, immorality and violence is a special privilege.
May there be room in our prayers for those suffering in the world, and in our giving for the afflicted, the poor and the sick. May the highest degree of gratitude be in the act of mercy: towards relatives, neighbors and friends in our homeland. Every good deed we do in Ramadan is greater and more significant.
To Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the homeland countries and the world, I wish that they spend Ramadan in peace, worship, with their loved ones and neighbors, dedicated to the values of their sublime faith. As the Almighty Allah tells us: Help yourselves with patience, that is, with fasting and prayer.
Ramadan Mubarak!"
