Rahimić: Džeko's recovery is going excellently, we believe he could play against Finland

Members of the coaching staff Elvir Rahimić and national team players Mateo Sušić and Siniša Saničanin addressed the media representatives.

Elvir Rahimić spoke about suspensions, Džeko's injury, and preparations:

“We are aware that six players have suspensions, but we are focused solely on the match with Finland, and those who are fittest and best will enter the battle. We are thinking about the suspensions, but it doesn't burden us. As for Edin Džeko's injury, we hope he will be ready. The recovery is going excellently, and we believe he could play. The other players are working to the maximum. Most importantly, they are ready, and the atmosphere is at a high level. We are working every day to prepare the team as best as possible for the upcoming matches.“

Mateo Sušić stated:

Siniša Saničanin notes:

“Honestly, I am not thinking about having a suspension and I don't want to put extra pressure on myself. I am entering the match fully prepared and focused. I hope there will be no suspensions and that we will achieve victory. As for Pukki, he is an excellent player, but we will pay attention to him. We have our aces too, and I believe there will be no problems. The atmosphere in the national team is excellent, and before every match, we have the same story. We motivate each other to enter the match with maximum seriousness. I hope we will make the nation happy and achieve the results we want. We all know what the atmosphere is like when the stadium is full, and that means a lot to us. The fans are our twelfth player and can push the team towards a positive result.“
