CELEBRATE BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA: Džumhur in another ATP final!

Damir Džumhur defeated Jan-Lennard Struff 2-0 (6:3, 7:5) in sets in the semi-final of the tournament in St. Petersburg, thus reaching his second consecutive ATP final.

Džumhur found a good rhythm, and at 3:2 for Struff in the first set, he won four consecutive games, two of which were on the opponent's serve, thus taking the first set with a score of 6:3.

He opened the second set with a lost game on his serve, so Struff took a 1:0 lead, but the best BH tennis player immediately returned the favor, confirmed the break, and made another one to take a 3:1 lead. The German did not give up so easily, and with a break, he reduced the deficit to 3:2, confirming it to equalize in the second set. In the most important game of the second set, at 6:5 for Damir, our tennis player made another break and thus won this set with 7:5.

After the match, Džumhur said that he is ready for the final and that this is his best match in the last few months.

- This will be my second final this year - Džumhur said after the match. He will play in the final against the winner of the match between Roberto Bautista and Fabio Fognini.
