Works on several road sections, adjust driving to road conditions

(Patria) - According to collected data, in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, traffic this morning is on dry or wet roads, without extraordinary restrictions. Fog reduces visibility on the A-1 highway section Lepenica-Bradina, then on the Ripač-Bosanski Petrovac, Gradačac-Ormanica, Šićki Brod-Kladanj sections, as well as in the Vrbas river valley.

In higher mountain areas, there is occasional ice on the road. We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution, maintain a safe distance between vehicles, and obey all traffic regulations.

Due to works on replacing lighting fixtures, the Bijela Vlaka tunnel tube is closed to traffic on the A-1 Počitelj-Bijača highway section. Traffic is two-way on the opposite side of the highway.

Due to works on the implementation of cable sewage on the A-1 Visoko-Podlugovi highway section, the driving and stopping lanes are closed to traffic.

Construction of a noise barrier is underway on the A-1 Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever highway section, due to which traffic is redirected to the overtaking lane.

On the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons is still suspended.

Works are underway on the Kladanj-Stupari main road, due to which traffic is carried out in one lane, with alternating passage of vehicles, every day (except Sunday) between 7 AM and 5 PM.

On the Buna-Stolac main road, in the settlement of Hodbina, rehabilitation works are being carried out, due to which traffic is slow, in one lane, every day (except Sunday) between 7:30 AM and 4 PM.

In Donje Paprasko, on the Konjic-Jablanica main road, works are being carried out on the repair of expansion joints on the bridge. Traffic lights have been installed at the worksite, and traffic is slow, in one lane.

Works are also ongoing on the Bileća-Trebinje main roads (at the Žudojevići locality) and at the entrance to Neum.

At border crossings, passenger vehicles wait between 10 and 30 minutes to cross the border.

Due to passenger registration under the new European Union entry and exit system (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer delays at border crossings are possible.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. As of December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing is open for all vehicle categories. Traffic for all trucks is prohibited at the Šepak border crossing.

We remind drivers that winter equipment is mandatory on roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
