Works on multiple road sections, adjust driving to road conditions

(Patria) - In most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, traffic is moving on intermittently wet roads, while on some sections we draw attention to reduced visibility due to fog or low clouds, as well as to frequent landslides. Drive carefully and respect all traffic regulations.

Due to works on laying the final asphalt layer, traffic is suspended on the Srbac-Derventa main road, and vehicles are rerouted to the Srbac-Prnjavor-Derventa route.

Due to demining works on the Ustiprača-Goražde main road (at the quarry site), traffic is semi-halted every working day from 9 AM to 3 PM.

Landslide remediation is underway in Sijeračke stijene on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina main road, where traffic is halted for up to 45 minutes between 8 AM and 5 PM.

Works on the construction of sidewalks on the main road at the entrance to Neum have begun. Traffic is alternating, one lane at a time, with traffic lights. (Works began on 10/27/2025.)

Works on repairing the guardrail along the Zenica-Doboj main road (on the Donja Vraca-Liješnica section) are underway, so from 9 AM to 4 PM, vehicles are driving slowly, with alternating passage.

Works are also ongoing on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, as well as on the main roads: Semizovac-Olovo, Konjic-Jablanica (Ostrožac), Donja Orahovica-Šićki Brod, Bileća-Trebinje (at the Žudojevići site), Klašnice-Banja Luka, Jablanica-Blidinje (on the Jablanica-Kosne Luke section), Jablanica-Prozor (Mirci settlement), Gacko-Foča (in Sastavci), Mostar-Čitluk (at the entrance to Čitluk), and Jajce-Crna Rijeka.

Due to the remediation of an active landslide on the regional road Ostrožac–Buturović Polje, traffic is temporarily suspended. Alternative routes are in use and are recommended until the works are completed.

At border crossings, passenger vehicles are currently not waiting longer than 10 to 30 minutes.

Due to the registration of passengers under the new European Union entry and exit system (EES, Entry/Exit System), drivers can expect longer delays at border crossings.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are rerouted to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can use the Šepak border crossing from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM (on weekends, they can cross between 10 PM and 6 AM).
