Radončić: Due to Bakir Izetbegović's vassal policy, BiH is ashamed of its Husein-kapetan!

Due to Bakir Izetbegović and 24 years of SDA rule, we are the only European country that is ashamed of its great patriotic heroes who bravely defended their homeland from Turkish occupation due to daily, sycophantic politics, stated Fahrudin Radončić, president of the Alliance for Better Future and the party's candidate for the BiH Presidency member, for the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Radončić, as a Bosniak intellectual, investor, and long-time journalist, spoke to NAP about the 180th anniversary of the death of Husein-kapetan Gradaščević, a great fighter for BiH's autonomy, which official institutions in BiH are not commemorating in any way.

- A nation whose history and identity are being erased must have leadership and government that will encourage our scientific institutions, education, and media to make Husein-kapetan Gradaščević our fundamental pride and role model, rather than someone who is being pushed out of the collective memory of the Bosniak corpus, the national identity of our people, and the whole of BiH by a radical and detached elite in a non-state manner. After the historical struggle of Captain Gradaščević and the formation of the Assembly, we, just as today after the struggle of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, have been brought into the shameful position of mere vassals by the current policy of the Chairman of the BiH Presidency – says Radončić.

According to him, we must do everything, and SBB will work on it, to finally return the remains of the great Captain Gradaščević to Bosnia after 180 years, from what he called "Turkish captivity".

- Our children must grow up and mature with the famous message of Husein-kapetan, spoken in a conversation with the Turkish beglerbeg, when the latter told him that he was dying in vain, because Bosnia did not exist and would not exist: "Beglerbeg, Bosnia and Bosniaks existed and will exist, they existed before you, and they will exist after you" – Radončić emphasized for NAP.
