Radončić: Instead of one family, Turkey should be dedicated to the entire BiH

On the occasion of Tayyip Erdoğan's victory in the presidential elections in Turkey, the president of SBB Fahrudin Radončić congratulated Erdoğan and wished Turkey development and prosperity, reports the Patria News Agency.

- Also, we expect that friendly country to change its policy towards BiH. Instead of controversial and failed investments, we demand that BiH gets a fair economic status, and not that huge amounts of money are extracted from our very poor country through the "Čengiz Group", "BH Airlines", etc. Also, we recommend to the President of Turkey Erdoğan that instead of one family, the surname Izetbegović, Turkey should be dedicated to all Bosniaks, but also to the entire BiH, with all its constituent peoples and citizens - the statement reads.

He further states that in addition, Erdoğan's concept of so-called conservative Islam, according to the election results, where he barely won more than 50 percent of the votes, shows that this option is not easily implementable even in a mono-ethnic Turkey with a huge Muslim population.

- Persistent imitation and attempts to establish something similar in BiH are very harmful to intra-Bosniak and inter-ethnic relations. Therefore, SBB rejects the colonial status that Bakir Izetbegović wants to build towards Turkey, demands full mutual respect at the state level, not regime level, and emphasizes the importance of conducting sovereign policies of both countries. This excludes the continuation of Turkey's habit, even of interfering in the election campaign within BiH - said the president of SBB Fahrudin Radončić.
