Radončić in Krajina, around 4.5 thousand refugees and migrants in Una-Sana Canton

BIHAĆ, (Patria) - Fahrudin Radončić, Minister of Security of the Council of Ministers of BiH, is visiting Una-Sana Canton today. Minister Radončić will meet with the Prime Minister of Una-Sana Canton, Mustafa Ružnić, at 10:00 AM. The meeting is scheduled to take place in the Prime Minister's office, in the Canton Government building, and statements are planned after the meeting concludes.

According to the estimates of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Una-Sana Canton, there are currently around 4.5 thousand refugees and migrants in the Una-Sana Canton area. Most of them are accommodated in camps, while about a thousand individuals are in improvised shelters, predominantly in abandoned facilities unsuitable for housing people.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Una-Sana Canton, Nermin Kljajić, recently told Patria that they expected a lot from the new Minister of Security, Fahrudin Radončić, and the Council of Ministers in terms of alleviating the number of migrants in the Una-Sana Canton area.
