Radončić to Decide on Candidacy for BiH Presidency Only Tomorrow

The Alliance for a Better Future - Fahrudin Radončić announced today that the decision on who will be the party's candidate for the member of the BiH Presidency will be made tomorrow, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

Although the party's president Fahrudin Radončić earlier announced that the session where this decision would be made would be held today, it has been postponed to Monday, when the legal deadline expires.

However, from SBB they say that Radončić has signed the party lists that will be submitted to the Central Election Commission before the deadline.

- By 01.07.2014, all cantonal and regional committees held one or more special sessions, and based on the SBB Statute and extensive discussion on each candidate, formed initial lists and forwarded them to the party president. According to the SBB Statute, the president makes the final selection and signs the lists, which he did after several days of consultations with the presidents of the SBB cantonal committees and members of the SBB Presidency from individual cantons - it was announced today.

Tomorrow, therefore, an expanded College of SBB presidents will be held in Sarajevo, which will also be attended by the current presidents of cantonal committees.

- The meeting starts at 12:00h and a final decision will be made only on who will be the SBB candidate for the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, because the lists for all other levels of government with several hundred ranked candidates have already been finalized and signed - they say from this party.
