Radončić Suspends Assistants Stanić and Agić Following Confirmed Indictments

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fahrudin Radončić has suspended two assistant ministers against whom indictments have been confirmed at the Court of BiH. The decisions on
temporary suspension were made in accordance with the Law on Civil Service in Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

These are Radenko Stanić, assistant minister in the Sector for Legal, Personnel, General and Financial-Material Affairs, against whom proceedings are ongoing at the Court of BiH for war crimes committed in the Vlasenica area.

Samir Agić, assistant minister in the Sector for Protection and Rescue, has also been suspended. The Court of BiH confirmed an indictment against him last week for abuse of position.
