Radončić: Prosecute sponsors and participants of fascist gatherings

Regarding the rampage in Višegrad, where the figure of Draža Mihailović and his work were celebrated, Fahrudin Radončić, president of the SBB and delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, said it is obvious that we have a gathering of followers of fascist ideas and the quisling Chetnik movement, which is very organized and cyclically adapted to the strategic and tactical interests of the Greater Serbian project.

- Knowing the tragic experiences from the Second World War and the mass killing of Bosniaks in Višegrad, knowing about the genocide committed against Bosniaks, it is clear that this is an illegal glorification of fascism and a repeated vile insult to the victims of crimes committed against our people and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Therefore, it is high time that the competent institutions react in accordance with the law and severely sanction the organizers and perpetrators of the criminal act of inciting religious and national hatred. In addition, just as these retrograde ideas could not destroy Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Second World War, nor during the aggression from 1992 to 1995, it is clear that, apart from attempts to sow fear and hatred, the historically defeated Chetnik idea and iconography cannot succeed this time either. Simply put, civilization is always stronger than anti-civilization, and patriotism stronger than traitors and executioners – said Radončić.
