Radončić: No need to argue with IOM

(Patria) - State Security Minister Fahrudin Radončić commented on the statement by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), emphasizing that there is no need to argue with IOM.

“Following the IOM statement that I should correct false claims that a decision to cease funding for part of the costs for the needs of the BiH Border Police was allegedly not made, I consider it reasonable to highlight two important facts: First, we are very grateful for their assistance so far and, of course, due to the escalation of the migrant and humanitarian crisis, we want to believe that it will be greater and more adequate. Because, poor BiH cannot bear the burden of the enormous number of people who want to end up in destinations outside our country on its own.

Second, instead of arguing about whether the funding was suspended, I offer for inspection the official document that the Ministry of Security of BiH received from the Border Police of our country,” Radončić concluded.
