Radončić: I don't mind the KS Government being replaced, Zvizdić should enter the BiH Presidency

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – The president of SBB Fahrudin Radončić stated that theft will continue in these elections as well, and that foreign countries should help BiH get an Election Law that will enable electronic voting by the next General Elections.

“We have a situation where nothing in BiH can be resolved without the international community. In BiH, you have an impotent government in the SDA-HDZ-SNSD triangle. Mediation will have to be conducted, otherwise we will have everything blocked as it is already,” Radončić told N1.

He stated that SBB did not want to be SDA's satellite, which is why it left the Council of Ministers. Regarding the FBiH Government, Radončić emphasized that SBB is in a hostage crisis.

“We have four ministers and we want to leave, but if we withdraw our two ministers who are Serbs, every decision would be unconstitutional. We would be glad if they formed it as soon as possible, and let SDA, HDZ BiH and DF form it, but I don't believe they will,” said the SBB president.

When asked what will happen with the KS Government and whether anyone had contacted him and asked if SBB wanted to be part of the new KS Government, Radončić replied that he has “good communication with the president of SDP Nermin Nikšić”.

“We don’t mind the KS Government being replaced. I don’t know if Mr. Čampara will vote for the replacement because he is asking for the same thing as SBB, for us to see the program. All options are open. We will not compete, let’s see what the new story is, what the Four has corrected, we are open to new ideas and to see at all if that government will fall,” he said.

Radončić stated that he has no problem with Elmedin Konaković, but emphasized that he would build the backbone of the future government with SDP, i.e., the option for the General Elections.

Regarding the relationship with SDA, he stated that they tried to change relations, but that “our view of the political situation differs dramatically”.

“There is no need to quarrel, but we do not want to participate in such a government,” he said, confirming that SBB is part of the pro-Bosnian bloc in Srebrenica and Mostar.

When asked about the affection for Denis Zvizdić, Radončić reacted strongly, stating that “there is no affection between me and Mr. Zvizdić”.

“I said that this generation should take over that position (member of the BiH Presidency). He is more of a positive figure for me than some others. Perhaps it is time for experienced politicians, younger than me and Mr. Izetbegović, to take over that position,” he said.

One of the questions was also about the migrant crisis, which was one of the reasons for resigning from the position of Minister of Security.

“We must have an anti-migrant policy, these people must be moved out of BiH and outside populated areas, there is no room for unserious rhetoric. This type of approach, where one does not want to problematize the fact that these are illegal migrants, will not help anyone, not even us Bosniaks,” he added.

The former minister also commented on the situation with the Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH, headed by Osman Mehmedagić.

“When the BiH Prosecutor’s Office received an anonymous criminal complaint against the director of OSA, within 24 hours you had recordings and the path of the person who filed the complaint. Someone brutally used BiH's intelligence resources to find out who filed the criminal complaint. If you are acting legally, then why do you care that someone is filing a complaint,” Radončić concluded.
