Radončić and Sattler: Greater financial support needed for equipping security agencies

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fahrudin Radončić today received in Sarajevo the Head of the European Union Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EU Special Representative, Ambassador Johann Sattler.

Cooperation in the field of security was discussed, with an emphasis on resolving the numerous challenges of the migrant crisis. Minister Radončić informed Ambassador Sattler about the current situation in this area and the measures being taken by the Ministry, reiterating that greater financial and material support is necessary for equipping security agencies.

Nino Hartl, appointed by the EU as an advisor for migration management, also attended the meeting and presented the work plan for the upcoming period. Furthermore, the establishment of a contact point in BiH for cooperation with the European Police Office (EUROPOL) was discussed.
