Radončić: Bosniak unity is also undermined by the Čampara and Zvizdić brothers

Guest on the show Telering, SBB leader Fahrudin Radončić, answering a question from Mate Đaković about  “who does not care that we have a stable society, that there is harmony in the Bosniak political corpus and who has an interest in there being no political unity in BiH”, replied:

- We must be precise. In such situations, there are many fingers. There are people who were in power but did not know how to be in power. Now they are disappointed and use private channels to complicate someone's life.

There are people who would now willingly find themselves in power, not to do something, but to steal as they stole.

There are also family interests. Perhaps Mr. Dubravko Čampara. I am not accusing him, I am speaking hypothetically. His own brother is the Minister of Police of the FBiH, Aljoša Čampara. His closest relative is Mr. Zvizdić, their mothers are sisters. Perhaps the man attacked me like death on a grandmother, fearing that I might become the Chairman of the Council of Ministers. It is possible that there are some bizarre motives for someone to eliminate someone else from the political scene - Radončić believes.

I have never met Nermana Hadžijahić and her husband

The SBB president also answered a question about the appointment of Nermana Hadžijahić to the position of BiH ambassador to Slovenia.

- The proposal for the ambassador was very simple. SBB got one or two positions in Slovenia, and Mr. Izetbegović generously said: "Go ahead, propose someone." My stance has always been the same, I haven't changed it since 2009: our candidates for important positions do not have to be SBB members. I have never met that woman, I have never met her husband. Her CV came, and I proposed her, just as I proposed the Minister of Energy and Mining, not knowing the man, only seeing what he had done, because of which the SDA - SDP coalition broke, how important that is. That's how I proposed the Minister of Justice in the Sarajevo Canton, and the Minister of Police in the Zenica-Doboj Canton, and about fifty other members of management and executive boards. I don't meet those people. The only people I will talk to are those going to director and executive positions in Elektroprivreda, Telekom, the airport, because there they need my support.

What will I talk about with a woman who is a candidate for ambassador, when there we have a very well-organized institution of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a very good minister. So, someone wanted to make a problem out of that too, but of course there is no problem. The woman is an excellent candidate. She was once in SDA, she did not switch to SBB nor is there a need, and we proposed her with great pleasure, and the Presidency accepted it - added Radončić.

All the best about Sebija Izetbegović

Commenting on the election of Sebija Izetbegović to the position of director of UKCS, Radončić said that this position belonged to SDA.

- SDA, based on its assessment and expertise, proposed Mrs. Sebija Izetbegović. The fact that she is the wife of Bakir Izetbegović - when you are a public figure, you always attract a stricter scrutiny. Whether she will be a good or bad director of UKCS, we will know very soon. I just saw her interview in a weekly magazine today. Her approach to how she wants to solve things on the professional medical, financial, and medical plan shows me that new things will happen there. First, the fight against corruption will stop, because a terrible theft was committed there with the help of SDP and DF cadres, and that should be investigated by the competent authorities, so I don't do their job.

In that sense, what are the decisions of SDA, it is ours as a coalition partner to monitor in the most constructive sense of that word. Whether I would personally do that if it were my wife, or not, I would probably, like Mr. Bakir Izetbegović, without complexes, be guided by the idea of whether that person deserves it or not - said Radončić, adding that he highly respects Mrs. Sebija Izetbegović professionally, even though he has no contact with her after all the political fights with Mr. Bakir Izetbegović.

If we had wanted, we would have gotten the position of Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH

Asked whether he has a desire to be the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Radončić stated that he is not a man who would negotiate twice on the same topic.

- If we had wanted that, we would have gotten it. Such is the relationship of political forces, that if we had been persistent like MOST in Croatia, for a month or two, we would have gotten it. I am not a man who conducts political negotiations in that way - Radončić was explicit.

Izetbegović and I are aware that we bear the greatest responsibility for the fate of BiH

 - Bosniaks are the greatest victims of the war, but we are the most numerous people, and I agree with the thesis that legitimate Bosniak representatives bear the greatest responsibility for the fate of BiH and stabilizing the situation in it. I think we are aware of that, both I and, above all, as the legitimate election winner, Mr. Izetbegović, who is a member of the Presidency and leads the strongest Bosniak party. Taking on the burden of the two of us solving the issue of BiH is impossible, not because we don't want to, not because we couldn't, but because there is a huge accumulation of economic, social, national, and even historical problems. Communication is not the problem.

The other evening I had the opportunity to talk with Mr. Bosić, Ivanić, and Čović. I think, despite all political differences, we must know that we have differences with Mr. Ivanić and Bosić, that we have political differences with Mr. Čović as well. They are legitimate results of the policies or political desires of their peoples or citizens, and that is not disputed. I think that Mr. Izetbegović and I have made that kind of agreement that, with my private-mediator role, and with his real political strength and responsibility, we truly and sincerely work on it.

The problem of Milorad Dodik is, after all, mostly in himself. Do not expect from me, until the political positions of Milorad Dodik crystallize on a different basis, that we can conduct serious negotiations about BiH. Mr. Dodik and I have an excellent personal relationship, but if you are possibly pushing the RS into the Russian embrace, if you are putting pressure on the judiciary in this way: we will abolish the Constitutional Court, if you are playing with the sword and saber of separatism, it is difficult for us to have a serious political predisposition, both Mr. Izetbegović and I, to talk with him in a serious and constructive way - said Radončić.
