Zrak workers to be paid for two months

(Patria) - The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, upon the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, has passed a Decision on approving the distribution of part of the funds generated from the sale of companies under the jurisdiction of the Privatization Agency of FBiH to the company "Zrak" d.d. Sarajevo - in bankruptcy.

With this decision, the Federal Government, in its capacity as the Assembly of the Development Bank of FBiH, approves the allocation of BAM 86,000 from the funds generated from the sale of companies under the jurisdiction of the Privatization Agency of FBiH, deposited in the transaction account of a special fund of the Development Bank of FBiH, opened with the Central Bank of BiH, for the payment of unpaid wages to the workers of this company for the sixth and seventh months of this year.

The Development Bank of FBiH will transfer these funds to the transaction account of "Zrak" after the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry and the company sign an agreement on the implementation of the allocated grant funds, which will precisely define the rights and obligations of the contracting parties.

The Development Bank of FBiH, the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, and the company "Zrak" d.d. Sarajevo – in bankruptcy are responsible for the implementation of this decision, each within their jurisdiction. The decision enters into force on the day it is made and will be published in the Official Gazette of FBiH.

As stated in the explanation, the company "Zrak" d.d. Sarajevo – in bankruptcy addressed the Federal Ministry with a request for urgent financial assistance. In the requests for approval of funds to overcome the current situation in this company, it was requested that the Government of FBiH approve funds for the payment of unpaid wages for June and July of this year to the workers of "Zrak".

The Federal Ministry proposed the allocation of funds in the amount of BAM 86,000 in accordance with the available funds in the account of the Special Fund of the Development Bank of FBiH and the manner of using the funds generated from the sale of companies under the jurisdiction of the Privatization Agency of FBiH, it was announced from the Government of FBiH.
