TRZ Hadžići workers paid one back salary, second by end of week, third by end of month

(Patria) - Workers of the Technical Overhaul Factory (TRZ) Hadžići have been paid one back salary, the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry announced today.

"The second payment follows by the end of the week, faster than we agreed with the representatives of the TRZ company, and the third by the end of the month, which continues the stabilization of the financial situation in this company", the Ministry stated.

These steps, as they state, represent an important signal of security for the workers and their families, but also confirmation that the initiated recovery process of TRZ is yielding concrete results.

According to the Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry, Vedran Lakić, there is a clear commitment to return TRZ Hadžići to where it belongs - at the heart of the FBiH defense industry.

- Bankruptcy and closure are not an option, and as in the case of the Zrak company, the goal is to make a turnaround, from problems to solutions - said Lakić.

Domestic companies Pretis and BNT TMiH are involved in the stabilization process, working together with the Government of FBiH to launch production and ensure regular income for the workers.

- The most important thing for us is that the TRZ workers know they are not alone. We want them to have security, to be able to plan their lives and come to work without fear of what tomorrow holds.

We do not live on promises, we work and fulfill what is up to us. We are already seeing the first concrete results today, and I am convinced that TRZ is on the path to recovery and renewed growth - says Lakić.

He also emphasizes that the goal is clear - a stable company, secure jobs, and a strong domestic industry, which, together with other defense industry companies, will continue to strengthen its position and contribute to the economic development of the Federation of BiH.
