Workers of Zenica Steel Plant block traffic in front of the Government of the Federation of BiH

More than a hundred workers of the Zenica Steel Plant came to Sarajevo and blocked traffic in front of the headquarters of the Government of the Federation of BiH, N1 reports, as carried by Patria.

The aim of this protest is to once again highlight the difficult situation in which this company finds itself, as well as the neglect of the Federal Government, which, despite agreements, ignores the problems of its own company.

The workers of the Steel Plant demand that, as agreed a month ago, financial resources be secured for the company's liquidity, and that, with an appropriate decision, the mortgage of the Tax Administration be removed from several properties owned by the Steel Plant, including the hotel "Internacional", which would enable the sale of that property in small-scale privatisation.

Traffic in this part of the city is completely blocked.
