Workers warn: Pionirska dolina materials are being taken by management to private cottages

The Financial Police has been intensively investigating the business operations of the public enterprise „Park“ for several days. It is suspected that this enterprise carried out illegal transactions of public money towards the party BPS Sefera Halilovića, writes the Patria news agency.

The investigation includes the director of „Park“, Safet Baltić, and the manager of Sarajevo's Pionirska dolina, Esad Tajić. It is not yet known whether the investigation has been extended to other individuals.

According to sources of the Patria news agency, the prosecution will try to prove that the public money of this enterprise was illegally spent for the needs of the BPS party, including the financing of the book „Atentat“ by Semir Halilović, son of Sefer Halilović, in the amount of 50,000 KM.
The prosecution is also investigating illegal employment in this state-owned company, as well as a number of other malversations, writes Patria.

If investigators manage to prove even a part of what the workers accuse them of, the top management of Park faces several years in prison.

The worst, according to the workers, could be for the manager of Pionirska dolina, Esad Tajić. He has been in this position for 20 years, and all this time, they explain, he has been using it for personal enrichment, illegally taking public money - investing it in a private cottage and luxury cars.

As early as March this year, Federal Television broadcast a shocking statement by a worker from Pionirska dolina, who warned about the illegal spending of public money from this company. Manager Tajić's only response to the accusations was - let the prosecution prove the crime if there is any.

Five months later, some workers are pointing fingers at Tajić again. They claim he has not stopped his criminal activities. He orders much more food for the animals than necessary, pays for it with taxpayers' money, and then sells the surplus, keeping the money for himself. He uses fuel for his private car in the same way.

One of Patria's sources claims that Pionirska dolina pays a private company from Visoko for lion meat, but instead - the animals only receive bones. The veterinary inspection of KS claims that they have not noticed anything unusual with the lions. They have ideal conditions, according to them. 

Workers further warn that hay is ordered and paid for even for the snake, and materials paid for the renovation of Pionirska often end up on Tajić's private property. The manager has employed almost his entire family in the company. A flower shop in the city owned by Pionirska has been operating at a loss for several years, but Tajić is not closing it because his wife works there, writes Patria.
