TTU workers sued the FBiH Government, preparing a tent settlement in front of the factory

Workers of the Factory of Transport Devices Tuzla protested peacefully in front of the factory today due to the non-fulfillment of their basic demands. A lawsuit has also been filed against the Federation and the Federal Government, which, as they say, deceived them.

The workers have not benefited in any way from the sale of TTU's property, which the state sold to itself in an illegal bankruptcy. 14 years of service are still not credited, more than 50 back wages have never been paid, and most of the 150 workers will never be returned to work. In a month, the deceived TTU workers will also be left without the minimal assistance they received from the employment bureau.

Mehmed Terzić, representative of TTU workers, pointed out that a lawsuit has been filed because the Constitutional Court also ruled that the bankruptcy was not initiated legally, and that they will gather in front of the factory, and there is a possibility that they will set up a tent settlement.

Otherwise, 15 workers, to whom the cantonal government promised to credit their service, cannot retire, even though they have met the conditions for retirement.

- They have not done anything they promised. Nothing is over until our service is credited and our back wages are paid. Out of all the workers, only 15 have started working in the new company, and three of them were protesting. We expect the Court to suspend the distribution of six million KM deducted from the sale with a temporary measure - says Terzić.

As is known, a part of the Factory of Transport Devices, about 70%, was sold for about 6 million KM. Before the sale itself, the workers were told that their service would be credited, eight back wages would be paid, those who have conditions for retirement would be able to achieve it, and workers who can would continue to work.

Workers can no longer enter their workshops because they are not employees of the new company TTU-Energetik, formed by EPBiH and the Banovići mine.

The government is silent, there are no wages. The factory was sold, and no one asked the workers anything.

Otherwise, Suvad Osmanagić, advisor to Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, was appointed by the FBiH Government as the person who was supposed to solve the problem. And as the workers testify, he came until he finished his job, which was to carry out the sale.

For their agony and downfall, TTU workers blame the federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, who was the chairman of the TTU Supervisory Board when this factory was destroyed and plundered. For their rights, the deceived TTU workers say they will continue to fight, even with more radical protests, to end their years-long agony.
