Workers of four destroyed companies from Tuzla - Aida, Livnica čelika, Dita, and Konjuh - were on the streets again today, reports the Patria News Agency.
About 300 disenfranchised workers gathered in front of the burned building of the Tuzla Canton Government and proceeded along the northern road in front of the Tuzla Canton Assembly.
The workers are demanding a one-time financial aid of 400 KM, support during unemployment, the resumption of production, and the resolution of their employment status.
As they stated, the authorities did not meet their deadline of January 25, by which they were supposed to receive an answer regarding their future.
If their demands are not met, they will start walking to Sarajevo and the American Embassy building next Monday.
