Quo vadis, Bosnia: Protests of Support for BiH in Stuttgart

(Patria) - Organized by the Civic Initiative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, protests of support for a unified BiH were announced for today in Stuttgart, under the slogan "Quo vadis, Bosna?" (Where are you going, Bosnia?).

"The Civic Initiative of BiH raises its voice against attempts to dissolve the homeland and negative developments in and around BiH recently, and sends a clear message that its citizens and friends are for peace, tolerance, democracy, and prosperity, and against war, conflict, and divisions into national enclaves. That the state of BiH belongs to its citizens, not to party leaders, that the rule of law must function, and that state issues should be resolved within institutions," the invitation stated.

The protest will be held from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Marienplatz.

The same organization will hold a panel discussion with eminent experts at the Diplomatic Academy Vienna (Favoritenstrasse 15A, 1040 Vienna).

Speakers will include Dr. Hannes Swoboda, President of the "International Institute for Peace", Dr. Erhard Busek, President of the "Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe", Dr. Vedran Džihić, political scientist, Dr. Nedim Ademović, constitutional law expert, and Ms. Bedrana Ribo, member of the Austrian Parliament.

We remind you that on January 9th and 10th, protests for peace in BiH were held in several European and world countries. The central gathering was on January 10th in Brussels, where hundreds of citizens of BiH origin gathered.
