SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Passengers of the Trebević Cable Car can get sleds for free, on a deposit basis, from this morning for use on the arranged sledding hill near the arrival station of the "Ramo Biber" Cable Car.
Namely, the City of Sarajevo and the Public Enterprise Sarajevo d.o.o. have arranged a sledding hill on the Olympic beauty, and from now on, sleds will also be available to everyone who comes by Cable Car.
- These activities are a continuation of our efforts to bring Trebević closer to the citizens. I am convinced that our youngest will enjoy the fresh air and winter joys - said Mayor Abdulah Skaka on this occasion.
The arrangement of the sledding hill and hiking trails are part of the projects that complete the tourist offer on Trebević. The free sled rental initiative is being realized by JP Sarajevo d.o.o. with the help of Visa and Unicredit companies.
Director of JP Sarajevo Esad Tanović points out that the sledding hill was arranged in cooperation with the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas.
- We thank everyone who was part of this project and I invite citizens to come to Trebević and enjoy the ride on the Trebević Cable Car - said Tanović.
