Roads in BiH: Difficult Traffic, Snow and Wind Causing Problems

Traffic is difficult on most road routes in our country. We especially warn about sections in higher mountain areas, where the use of chains is mandatory for trucks with trailers and semi-trailers, according to BIHAMK, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

On the sections Kupres-Livno, Šuica-Tomislavgrad, and Glamoč-Mlinište, strong winds are causing additional difficulties for drivers, creating snowdrifts. We also warn about snowy and occasionally slippery roads in lower areas of Bosnia. Due to snowdrifts, traffic is completely suspended on the regional road R-419 Mihalji-Blidinje.

Thanks to the interventions of the road services, most road routes are passable. We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and to adjust their driving to the current conditions and road conditions. Do not set off on a journey without winter equipment.

At border crossings, delays are short-term.
