Son of Daut Tihić released, lawsuits to be filed against responsible persons from RS MoI

The arrested son of Daut Tihić, who was detained by the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs due to an anonymous report of terrorism, has been released, Tihić confirmed to us. Tihić is, as a reminder, an SBB councilor in the Municipal Assembly of Srebrenica and a former commander of the Army of RBiH, writes the Patria News Agency.

- My son is now in Skelani and is home. I had an Assembly session today, and forgive me, honorable individuals, but my colleagues from the assembly benches are idiots. They are even linking this house search and the anonymous report to some of my earlier statements in which I criticized the RS authorities – says Tihić.

As a reminder, Tihić's son was born in 1982 and permanently resides in Stockholm. He is married and is currently in BiH to help his parents prepare for winter. After the special units of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs searched Tihić's movable and immovable property and did not find any explosives, they detained Tihić's son.

- Now I will sue the person from the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs who forwarded this anonymous report to the Public Security Center in Bijeljina. I will not stop here; they will not stop me in my pursuit of the truth – Tihić added.
