Pušina: We will do everything to be a corrective factor in BiH

Senad Hadžifejzović hosted representatives of the association "Friends of BiH" on his show Dnevnik on FACE TV, who tried to explain how they were formed and what the goals of their existence and work are.

This time, Jusuf Pušina, Samra Pehilj, and Zdenko Mihajlović, prominent BiH citizens and founders of this association, which numbers over 50 respected BiH citizens, came to the studio. Hadžifejzović noted that the composition and some activities of this association have caused various reactions in the public. Pušina responded that the association's goal is to become the avant-garde of the non-governmental sector in BiH, to be a corrective factor.

- BiH aims to join the EU, but we cannot achieve this with a fragmented security system. We will ensure that we are heard and that they understand that BiH can only function through institutional action. That the BiH Prosecutor's Office must be completely independent because citizens want a state of law - said Pušina.

Hadžifejzović also insisted that the guests answer why the association has a large number of police officers and people from former security services among its members, including Bakir Alispahić, Malik Krivić...

Mihajlović stated in his response that Mr. Alispahić contributed to the founding of such an association, but that everyone in the association is an individual and all have their own opinions.

- We are simply creating a broad front. I believe we will succeed in realizing our idea - said Mihajlović.

Samra Pehilj said that they also have people in their membership who belong to political parties, but that they act as individuals in the association and that they will not be able to realize some party ideas in "Friends of BiH".

- I cannot shake the feeling that a critical mass of people can defeat those in power. But our role is to point out everything that has been done wrong for years - said Pehilj.

Among other things, as the members stated, the association "Friends of BiH" was founded on 12.12.2013 and will deal with the following issues: do we have quality leadership, does meritocracy exist in BiH, do the same rules apply to everyone in BiH, and is enough invested in knowledge, said the association "Friends of BiH".
