Puljić congratulates Pope Francis on Christmas

(Patria) - The President of the Bishops' Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cardinal Vinko Puljić, Metropolitan Archbishop of Vrhbosna, sent a Christmas greeting to His Holiness Pope Francis on Christmas Eve 2021.

"Your Holiness! In this timely Christmas greeting, I wish to express my closeness and communion of joy on the birth of Jesus Christ. On behalf of the bishops, priests, monks and nuns, as well as the entire Catholic people in BiH, and especially in my own name, I most cordially congratulate you on Christmas and the birth of Jesus. May the strength and light of the Holy Spirit accompany you in the new year 2022. I also take this opportunity to belatedly wish you a happy 85th birthday. We follow you with our prayers. With the most sincere congratulations and expressions of communion, we humbly ask for the apostolic blessing," Cardinal Puljić wrote in his greeting to the Roman Pontiff, the Vicar of Christ and shepherd of the Universal Church, Pope Francis.
