Pudarić: SDP will contest elections with the largest number of candidates

Candidate lists for the upcoming October elections in BiH were submitted to the Central Election Commission of BiH by Svetozar Pudarić, President of the Main Board of SDP, reports the correspondent of the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Pudarić stated that SDP is the party with the largest number of candidates for the upcoming elections in BiH, falling just short of 60 candidates.

- SDP has no problems finding candidates, and we even exceeded the number of women required by law to be on the lists. I fear that male candidates might become a minority, which I would like - said Pudarić.

Answering a journalist's question about whether it was difficult to find a candidate for the Presidency, Pudarić said:

- It's not quite like that, we wanted to find someone that SDP can stand behind and who, with his thinking, can represent a member of the Presidency. The entire SDP can stand behind Bakir Hadžiomerović in the campaign. He possesses the human qualities needed for this position. His first advantage is that he is Bakir Hadžiomerović, and the second is that SDP stands behind him – he added, reports Patria.
