A shooting occurred in the Sarajevo settlement of Vratnik, injuring two men, confirmed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton. According to Patria, one of the injured is B.V. (1977) with severe gunshot wounds, and the other, P.A., sustained minor injuries.
Unfortunately, one of the injured individuals, who was shot multiple times, died at the University Clinical Center Sarajevo (UKCS).
- The patient lost his battle for life at 2 PM. He was admitted to KCUS with gunshot wounds to the abdomen and the left side of the chest, both thighs, and bruises on his head - stated KCUS.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton confirmed to Patria that the investigation is ongoing.
- Perpetrators are being sought, the prosecutor is on site, and an investigation is underway. A ballistics expert is also present - said Irfan Nefić, spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton was notified of the shooting at 12:30 PM, and police officers are working to clarify the incident and find the perpetrators.
