Đumić's debut goal for Darmstadt: Excellent defensive play and a goal earned the Lilies a point

(Patria) - Dario Đumić, the 27-year-old Bosnian-Herzegovinian centre-back, scored a goal in Darmstadt's draw against Nuremberg in the sixth round of the German 2. Bundesliga (3:3).

Đumić played fantastically in defence, not losing a single duel in the match, and had several ball recoveries and blocked shots. In the first half, the 27-year-old BiH centre-back also created a great chance.

In the second half, Đumić scored the goal for 2:2 in the 72nd minute. The referee used VAR, after which he acknowledged the goal and pointed to the centre. This was his debut goal in a Darmstadt shirt. Before the goal, he had another good chance when he headed the ball.

In the remainder of the match, two more goals were seen, one on each side, and the game ended 3:3. The remaining two goals for the Lilies were scored by Serdar Dursun, while for Nuremberg the scorers were Robin Hack twice and Michael Frey.
