New Croatian Prime Minister Tihomir Orešković held a meeting today with his ministers at Banski dvori, reports the Patria news agency.
At the meeting, the prime minister discussed the handover of ministries with the ministers. All ministers will have several days to familiarize themselves with the work and finances of their ministries.
In addition, according to the ministers upon leaving, the meeting also addressed the budget. The refugee crisis was also discussed, and the new Minister of the Interior Vlaho Orepić is leaving for Brussels on Monday for a meeting on this topic.
Upon leaving Banski dvori, Tomislav Karamarko answered questions about how they will deal with the migrant wave passing through Croatia. In doing so, he did not rule out the possibility that Croatia might also place wire on the border.
Deputy Prime Minister Božo Petrov was not present at the government meeting, as he went to Metković due to obligations, while First Deputy Prime Minister Karamarko stated before the meeting that they would discuss some personnel solutions, with expertise being the main principle, reports dnevnik.hr.
