For the first time, Montenegrins not in the final: Igor from Bileća winner in lying down competition

Twenty-year-old Igor Kisić from Bileća is the winner of the fourth Open Competition of Montenegro in lying down, held at the ethno village Montenegro in Gornja Brezna near Plužine, reports the news agency Patria.

Kisić, a student of sports journalism, managed to lie down for 33 hours and 30 minutes, for which he earned a prize of 300 euros.

As he said, he will treat his friends in Bileća with the money.

"Times are hard and the prize came at the right time, especially since I didn't do anything for it. I'll treat my friends and buy season tickets for KK Crvena Zvezda matches," said Kisić.

The Montenegrin record of Marko Đurović from Podgorica, a three-time winner of the laziness competition with 37 hours, was not broken, but this is the first time since the competition has been organized that Montenegrins are not in the final.

Đurović withdrew from the competition this year due to health issues.

This year, candidates from Montenegro, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina applied for the competition, and due to bad weather conditions, the competition was held in one of the closed rooms of the ethno village, writes Mondo.
