First Roundtable on Religious Tourism in BiH

Gazi Husrev-beg Vakuf is organizing the first roundtable on religious tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 15. The roundtable is titled “Religious Tourism, Perspectives and Opportunities of the Islamic Community”, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

University professors and professionals in the field of tourism and public relations, as introductory speakers, as well as other participants, will contribute with their papers, reviews and proposals to the creation of a conceptual and informational framework for the work of the Islamic Community in the field of tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Dženan Kaljanac, secretary of Gazi Husrev-beg Vakuf, said that a visit to the archives and museums of the Islamic Community is planned and organized within the framework of the roundtable, so all interested parties will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the cultural and historical heritage of Muslims in these regions.

The roundtable will be held at the Gazi Husrev-beg Library, which is also a co-organizer, reports Patria.
