First day of PIC session in BiH Parliament: Opposition leaders from FBiH not invited despite having 15 parliamentarians

(Patria) - The Steering Board of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) will discuss the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina during its two-day session.

The start of the PIC Steering Board session and the first day of the meeting are planned at the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Trg BiH 1, Sarajevo.

On the second day, the High Representative Christian Schmidt will report on the PIC communique at a press conference.

Otherwise, the presidents of the Trojka parties (SDP, NIP, NS), HDZ BiH, and opposition parties from RS SDS, PDP, and Lista na pravdu i red are expected to attend the meeting with the PIC today.

Opposition party leaders from FBiH were not invited, so the presidents of SDA, DF, and Stranka za BiH will not be at the table. In the House of Representatives of the PS BiH, SDA and DF have 11 votes, including one representative from RS, and in the House of Peoples of the PS BiH, they have four delegates.

SNSD was also not invited, although they are formally still part of the state government.
