The first day of Eid al-Adha is on Monday, September 12, it was announced by the Administration for Religious Affairs of the Islamic Community in BiH.
The Eid prayer is performed 45 minutes after sunrise.
Eid al-Adha is one of the two greatest Muslim holidays, when Muslims offer a sacrifice – a kurban – to Almighty God. Besides its spiritual meaning, Eid al-Adha also has a social character, writes Patria.
