First man of MZ Čengić-Vila 2 Galib Kulovac: I will present facts that many will not like

Galib Kulovac, president of the MZ Čengić- Vila 2 Council, municipality Novo Sarajevo, told the Patria News Agency that he fears that behind the attacks on the mayor of Novo Sarajevo Municipality, Nedžad Koldžo, due to a residential and commercial building whose construction is starting in the Čengić- Vila settlement, there are other interests.

He stated that at the citizens' assembly scheduled for this evening at 6 PM, he will present facts that many will not like.

- This land was purchased by the Slovenian company Marles back in 1989, and the worst part is that it was never declared a green area or a park, but was always registered as undeveloped construction land.

When Marles transferred all rights and authorizations to the current investor, they submitted a request for the allocation of that land, and in 2001, the Municipal Council allocated the land. If someone had appealed then, they might have succeeded, and if they had succeeded in declaring this land a park then, they would not be able to build anything now, says Kulovac.

Kulovac also stated that the Cantonal Inspectorate, upon reviewing the documentation, determined that everything was in accordance with the law.
