First Entrepreneurship Development Center of Sarajevo Canton to soon get its premises

(Patria) - Good news arrived from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Sarajevo. Work has begun on the adaptation of the space that will house the first Entrepreneurship Development Center of Sarajevo Canton.

This was the occasion for the Minister of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, Zlatko Mijatović, and the representative in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton, Rusmir Pobrić, who prepared the initiative for the establishment of this Center several years ago, which was then unanimously adopted by the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton, to visit the space and see the progress of work on this project.

As the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Haris Lulić, and Ensar Mulaosmanović, Director of the Center for Advanced Technologies of Sarajevo Canton, within which the Entrepreneurship Development Center will also be located, informed the minister, it is expected that the works will be completed in the first quarter of next year.

"I look forward to the final establishment of the Entrepreneurship Development Center with a business incubator, which will round off the entrepreneurship development system and contribute to establishing a more favorable environment for founding and successfully operating startups," Minister Mijatović said on this occasion.

We recall that the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton has secured one million KM for the project of renovation and adaptation of the space in the building of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Sarajevo. The funds will be used for construction and craft works, mechanical installations, electrical installations, renovation of the flat non-traversable roof above the Center's space, and for the preparation of project documentation.

In the previous period, a detailed study on the establishment and operation of the Center was prepared, and all necessary procedures for commencing work were carried out.
