SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Meteorologists' forecasts of snow for the last weekend of September have come true.
The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute announced this morning that snowflakes are falling on the mountain peaks.
RTRS is publishing photos from Jahorina, showing snowflakes in the first days of autumn.
Due to possible heavy rainfall, an orange weather alert has been issued for Herzegovina today.
Between 20 and 50 liters per square meter are expected, locally up to 80 liters.
Snow is also falling on Bjelašnica, and at 11 AM the temperature on this mountain was measured at -1 degrees Celsius.
