The Bosnia and Herzegovina sitting volleyball team returned to Sarajevo today with gold medals around their necks, after yesterday in the Polish city of Elblag they won the world champion title by defeating the Brazilian selection 3:1, Patria reports.
At Sarajevo Airport, they were welcomed by their families and friends, but there was no mass gathering. Let us remind you, this selection is the most trophy-winning sports collective, and this was the third gold medal at the World Championships.
The best libero in the world is Adnan Kešmer, and last year he was the best in Europe.
The winning trophy was carried by captain Sabahudin Delalić, and the chosen ones of Mirza Hrustemović received support from the Mayor of Sarajevo, Ivo Komšić.
